The veneration of birds extends from our own day, for example in John Lennon's quote "Tame Birds sing of Freedom. Wild birds fly" to the earliest megalithic origins of mankind. All deities of all cults and religions were always connected with those bird creatures that descended directly from the dinosaurs and represented the intangible soul, which could detach itself from the earth at any time and disappear into the immateriality of the sky. The composition gives a great chance to the trumpet soloist, to demonstrate all their skills.

Introduction: The veneration of birds extends from our own day, for example in John Lennon's quote "Tame Birds sing of Freedom. Wild birds fly" to the earliest megalithic origins of mankind. All deities of all cults and religions were always connected with those bird creatures that descended directly from the dinosaurs and represented the intangible soul, which could detach itself from the earth at any time and disappear into the immateriality of the sky.
Birds are also found in the Bible and Christian culture as mediators between God and man: the raven has been documented since the Flood. The dove has also symbolised reconciliation with God since the account of the Flood, stands for gentleness, love and peace (for example in Solomon's "Song of Songs", refers to the baptism of Jesus by John the Baptist (Matthew 3:16) and to the Holy Spirit; today the dove is a symbol of the international peace movement. The rooster, which likes to stand on the top of church spires, heralds the dawn, wakes people up, reminds them of Peter's denials and therefore calls for sincerity, to remain vigilant and to beware of evil. The rooster, already sacred to the Persians, is the bird of light, of victory over the darkness of night and the grave.
Because of its short flight distance and its appearance, the robin has become a popular symbol, often comforting the Lord as a "pure bird" in Christ legends. Many other birds are symbolically classified in the Bible: vultures, owls, falcons, sparrows, herons and swallows... which always symbolise wisdom, independence and "freedom". In THE FREEDOM OF BIRDS, this diversity is used to represent the symbolism of the eagle, raven, dove, robin and phoenix in music, which can unfold its immediate sonority in the powerful and virtuosically agile sound of the trumpet.
