On the one hand there is the main theme, full of optimism composed for a character who never gives up and dreams of the utopia "America". The counterpart is the "poetesses" theme, quiet, introverted as longing. Composed to the rhythm of a waltz, it is also assigned to the deaf-mute Gottfried.
