Introduction: Prologue:
The Rhine river is the lifeline of the region „Rheinhessen“: therefore it was only reasonable to base this work on the quote of the Greek natural philosopher Heraklit from Ephesos (540-480 B.C.) "PANTA RHEI" ("everything flows") - particularly as the etymological meaning of the name Rhine derives from this famous quote. And since the wine also flows in a strong manner in the Rheinhessen region, the work PANTA RHEI turned into a vigorous fast polka that is intended to make people happy - like a good wine.
