Based on Rafael Seligmann's novel SHALOM MY LOVE, Josef Rödl staged this two-part film for HR/ARD, which gives a deep insight into modern Jewish life in Germany and the homeless back and forth between the two cultures of the main actor RON (Dominique Horwitz).
