On the occasion of the Luther year 2012 this wild collection of famous choral melodies of Martin Luther was created. The central element is „Ein feste Burg ist unser Gott“ (A solid fortress is our God), that is present as a powerful theme just like a ritornello and that becomes subject to a soft lyrical embodiment towards the end. The quiet central part of the otherwise quite virtuos organ piece is a choral adaptation of „Verleih uns Frieden gnädiglich“ (Give us peace graciously).
