Introduction: KYRIE was created as a preamble to a concert with W.A. Mozart's 'Requiem' KV 626 and the rich sound of the horns compliment this piece.
The contrast between old and new is the essence of the piece. The vocal part of 'Kyrie' has a modern feel while the Mozart-like basset horns bring a historical dimension.
