Introduction: The work was created for the European organ festival Via Claudia Augusta from Landsberg to Venice as the toccata which was played at all 50 concerts by the various soloists involved.
Das Werk entstand für das Europäische Orgelfestival Via Claudia Augusta von Landsberg bis Venedig als Erkennungstoccata, die bei allen 50 Konzerten vom jeweiligen Solisten zum Eingang gespielt wird.
