The Brahms song was arranged for a cappella choir with violin and violoncello: especially for the virtuoso duo Franziska Hölscher (violin) and Alexej Stadler (violoncello) as well as the Süddeutscher Kammerchor conducted by Gerhard Jenemann. The texture of Johannes Brahms' chorus was preserved. Text-explaining passages by the string duo were added, especially as prelude, interludes and postlude.

As the finale of the concert series FAUSTUS. MUSIK UND TEUFELSPAKT, the Brahms song was arranged for a cappella choir with violin and violoncello: especially for the virtuoso duo Franziska Hölscher (violin) and Alexej Stadler (violoncello) as well as the Süddeutscher Kammerchor conducted by Gerhard Jenemann. The texture of Johannes Brahms' chorus was preserved. Text-explaining passages by the string duo were added, especially as prelude, interludes and postlude.

Dates of the world premieres: 28 and 29 October 2022 in Frankfurt a.M. at Vocal Art, 30 October Kulturkirche Göttingen and on 31 October at the Konzerthaus Berlin (at the Gendarmenmarkt).
Enjott Schneider's "LUNEA WALZER" for violin and choir based on the village inn scene from Nikolaus Lenau's "Faustus" and on Franz Liszt's "Mephisto Waltz No. 1" was also performed in these concerts.
