MARCO POLO – a monumental opera in Guangzhou & Beijing
Exciting News in may 2018: Sometimes silent as my election as official member of the „Bavarian Academy of Fine Arts“ or my nomination as „Honorary Artistic Advisor“ of Guangzhou Opera House. Sometimes with frenetic applause as the performances of my opera MARCO POLO (composed and sung in chinese language) in Guangzhou and Beijing. All over China it was a sensation in media and cultural life. -
SEPTEMBER & OCTOBER 2020 with 4 World Premieres
Despite the Corona Lockdown there took place four world premieres...from the organ composition to the oratorio "Beethovens Schöpfung" für Soli, Chor und Ensemble (Texts: Goethe and Beethoven) -
2015 IS FINALIZED..... COMPOSING, RECORDINGS & CONCERTS NONSTOP
The final months of 2015 were also fully characterized by 'music', world premieres, new CD releases und endless pages of score compositions: the squirrel I see at my garden window each morning goes nuts for nuts, I go nuts for new compositions!
