Just in time for Christmas presents the label 'Ambiente Audio' released the CD "JUBILISSIMO - BRASS & ORGAN AT ESSEN CATHEDRAL"... with seven works by Enjott Schneider, - virtuosic and highly emotional performed by Reinhold Friedrich/Hannes Läubin (trumpets), David Friedrich/Brandt Attema (trombones) and the Essen cathedral organist Sebastian Küchler-Blessing. as quickly as possible and listen to it in its entirety: there is rejoicing in the highest tones, but also - for example in "Golgotha" and "Gethsemane" - sadness and pain, captured and sound-preserved in a very appealing way by the sound engineer Toms Spogis!
From 2nd to 8th November - in the middle of the Corona lockdown - a very special CD (a long cherished desire of Enjott Schneider) was recorded in the large concert hall of the Munich University of Music & Theatre. Although the planned live concert fell victim to the general ban on events, the sound recordings for the 'Ambiente Audio' label were able to take place - in compliance with all hygiene regulations and distance rules. BEETHOVENS SEHNSUCHT is the name of this project: eight composers have set metamorphoses and paraphrases to the fantastically touching Goethe song "Nur wer die Sehnsucht kennt" (which Beethoven set to music four times!) as premieresand ‘New Music’ for the Beethoven Year. The composing section were five women and two men: Martina Eisenreich, Konstantia Gourzi, Dorothea Hofmann, Evelyn Huber, Birgit Stolzenburg, as well as Marco Hertenstein and (represented with two works) Enjott Schneider. Konstantia Gourzi conducts the ENSEMBLE "OCTOPUS" FOR MODERN MUSIC, which is joined by excellent soloists: Julia Sophie Wagner (soprano), Jelena Stojkovic (piano), Birgit Stolzenburg (dulcimer), Evelyn Huber (harp), Kai Rapsch (Englishhorn), Christian Benning (vibraphone), Wolfgang Lohmeier (percussive sound installation), Stefan Schneider (clarinet), Carlos Vera Larrucea (percussion), Slava Cernavka (clarinet). CD "BRIDGES TO INFINITY" im Juli 2024 eingespielt
Hoch aufwendige CD-Produktion BRIDGES TO INFINITY mit der BODENSEE-PHILHARMONIE (vormals: Südwestdeutsche Philharmonie Konstanz) mit Chefdirigent Gabriel Venzago. Ein Feuerwerk der musikalischen Qualitäten, indem sich als Sternstunde des Musizieren die Solisten Julia Sophie Wagner (Sopran), Alexias Eichhorn (Viola), Friedemann Eichhorn (Violine), das Schlagzeugquartett Stefan Blum, der Chor der Klang-Verwaltung und eben das staunenmachende Orchester gegenseitig hochschaukelten, kompromisslos, risikobereit und hoch emotional. Diese CD dürfte meine beste von den bislang über 100 CDs werden!!!! Ich freue mich auf den release ihm Herbst 2024!
